Alliance Modes

In multiplayer and skirmish games, there are three different alliance modes...

Alliance Modes

When setting up a game, you can choose from one of three alliance modes:

IconNotes

No alliances

All out war, everyone is your enemy.

  • Win: Defeat all other players
  • Lose: You lose when all your factories and droids are destroyed.

Dynamic alliances

Players can choose to create or break alliances at any time during the game.

  • Win: Defeat all enemies
  • Lose: You lose when all your factories and droids are destroyed.

Note: If one of your allies survives, they might be able to revive you by donating a truck, but even if your alliance then wins the game you won't be considered a winner because you had already been defeated.

Fixed teams

Players are put in to fixed teams that cannot change during the game.

  • Win: Defeat all enemy teams
  • Lose: You lose when your entire team is defeated.

Note: An ally can revive you by donating a truck if you get killed. If your alliance then goes on to win the game you will be treated as a winner – there's no "I" in "team" (wink)

Dynamic Alliances

When dynamic alliance mode is active, players can change alliance with other players at any time during the game.

Click on the Intelligence icon to list all players:

You can then use the following buttons to change alliance settings...

ButtonNotes

Offer alliance

An offer to form an alliance will be sent to the associated player.

Accept alliance request

Accept an offer from another player and be allied with them.

Break alliance

Reject an offer from another player and be enemies with them.
