Faction, Team & Player Colours

Campaign Faction Colours

Each faction in the Campaigns has their own colour as follows:

It's not clear what will happen to the colours for scavenger or civilian factions if the player chooses the same colour.

Also, in normal games, the scavenger colour is set automatically to a random colour. If some other player chooses that colour on the Players Panel, they will swap colours with the scavenger faction. It's currently not possible for scripts to determine what colour the scavengers are.

Team & Player Colours

There are three alliance modes:

• NO_ALLIANCES – every man for himself ("Free For All" or "FFA" game)

• ALLIANCES – dynamic alliances (players can join and leave alliances at any time)

• ALLIANCES_TEAMS – fixed alliances (players remain in their alliance for the whole game)

In relation to team colours, ALLIANCES is treated the same as NO_ALLIANCES. In these two modes, each player will be in their own team and therefore have their own colour.

If the game us using ALLIANCES_TEAMS then not only will each player be assigned a colour, but each team will be assigned a colour based on the "Team" column in the colour palette below...

The "Colour ID" shown in the table below is the number that's used in Player objects to indicate which colour a particular player is using.
