NASDA
NASDA, the North American Strategic Defense Agency, is a pre-Collapse faction.
Dr. Alan Reed was the main scientist behind the NASDA systems and was ultimately the reason for the "malfunctions" that led to The Collapse.
NASDA was formed in 2076 to defend North America from conventional and nuclear attack.
Construction of a satellite defence system began in 2081 and was completed in 2082. The satellites contained nuclear warheads and also pulse lasers.
