Some of the more common terms and abbreviations used in Warzone 2100...

 

General abbreviations

These are mostly used in the In-game Chat...

  • cam = Campaign (see Campaigns)
  • droid = Any player controllable unit (tanks, VTOLs, etc)
  • mp = MultiPlayer (see Multiplayer Features)
  • res = Research
  • ski = Skirmish
  • sp = Single Player (eg. skirmish)
  • truck = Any droid capable of construction, including combat engineers

Factions

Faction names are often abbreviated:

Common chat abbreviations

Used in In-game Chat:

  • ally? = Suggest an alliance with another player (see Alliance Modes).
  • gg = Good Game: said at end of matches to show kudos to the other player
  • help = Ask ally to help with a battle, accompanied by a Beacon.
  • np = NProblem
  • pb = Problem
  • power = Ask ally to donate power to you.
  • truck = Ask ally to donate a truck to you.
  • tx or thx = Thanks, often used to let an ally know they can withdraw their support

Research paths

The following research paths are commonly used in Warzone...

  • fc = Flamers & Cannons
  • fr = Flamers & Rockets
  • mc = Machine guns & Cannons
  • mf = Machine guns & Flamers
  • mr = Machine guns & Rockets

  • aa = Anti Aircraft
  • ac = Assault Cannon
  • arty = Artillery (eg. Howitzers)
  • cb = Counter Battery radar
  • ecm = Electronic Counter Measures (eg. Radar Jammer)
  • fl = Flamers
  • hmg = Heavy Machine Gun
  • hpv or hvc = Hyper Velocity Cannon
  • ht = Half-tracks propulsion
  • las = Lasers
  • mg = Machine Guns
  • mra = Mini Rocket Array
  • mrp = Mini Rocket Pod
  • rox = Rockets
  • tmgTwin Machine Gun
